Michelle Lambert

Kicking off our six-week concert series, Michelle Lambert brings a world of experience when she steps up to the microphone. This Pop/Folk singer-songwriter has toured out of Nashville, Los Angeles, Denver, and Miami after graduating from Berklee College of Music on a full scholarship.

Michelle’s latest single, Come to Me, has caught the attention of the press and reached number one on Indie Radio for four consecutive weeks! She began studying violin at age two, vocals at five, and quickly added piano and drums, building the foundation for her dynamic songwriting and musical versatility.

Influenced by her studies in Celtic music, Michelle weaves themes of female empowerment throughout her work, making her a genre-defying 21st-century talent with a lot on her mind. Don’t miss this powerhouse performance as we kick off an incredible summer of music!

Sugar Britches

Sugar Britches is a blend of mischievous high-brow honky-tonk with eclectic instrumental accompaniment and clever lyrics, written by Brian Johanson and performed by a cavalcade of characters. Combining good ‘ol country heartache along with snarky folksy wit, Sugar Britches has been playing non-stop throughout Colorado and the great West in bars, parking lots, weddings, bat mitzvahs, rodeos, amphitheaters and regular theaters since 2017. Sugar Britches have received critical acclaim and plain old criticism, from music lovers and mothers. They have won hearts and minds and driven audiences wild with their sex appeal, fanciful stylings and wit. They have opened up for many national touring artists, including Reckless Kelly, Wynonna Judd & the Big Noise, Hannah Dasher, Jaime Wyatt, Big Richard, Midland, Billy Bob Thornton and the Boxmasters, Pokey LaFarge, Corb Lund, The Reverend Horton Heat and Jason Eady. The band released their first album, Don’t Make Her a Mixtape Yet You Idiot, in 2019, their second album, No One Cares That It’s Your Birthday in 2022, and they are currently recording their 3rd AND 4th albums as you read this. The Band features Brian Johanson on lead vocals and guitar, Lance Ruby on lead electric guitar, AJ Knight on drums, Cameron Collums on upright bass and a rotating cast of amazing guest musicians. Keep your eyes peeled for all of our special guests and show iterations.

The Reminders

The Reminders are a rare and remarkable musical trio seamlessly blending soulful sounds and roots music with insightful messages and thoughtful lyrics. The group consists of Brussels-born emcee Big Samir and Queens-born emcee/ vocalist Aja Black, a collective creative force that’s hard to beat. Big Samir weaves intricate rhythmic patterns with a bilingual French/English flow, displaying his street smart credibility in both his lyrics and cool demeanor. This is beautifully complimented by Aja Black’s confident delivery, diverse cadences, and unique vocal stylings. The two have an undeniable magical chemistry as they share more than lyrical abilities and stages; the couple shares a partnership in both music and life as Samir and Aja have been married for almost a decade. The Reminders transcend the bounds of what is expected. Their stage presence and high energy shows leave crowds in awe the world over, allowing the duo to uplift and entertain all at once. Their unique mashup of razor sharp rhymes; raw, soulful vocals; and reggae-tinged hip hop beats form the perfect backdrop for their relevant and inspiring themes, leaving a lasting impression on listeners with audiences always wanting more. The Reminders take their hip hop foundation and move it beyond genre, time, and space to create a global musical experience that is classic and speaks to all those willing to participate.
