Head Down a Country Road with Union Gray
Here at Lagoon, we like to switch things up. We understand that variety is the spice of life, so artists of all sounds and genres are welcome to the Lagoon stage. This coming week, we are proud to announce that the feel-good country artist Union Gray will be joining us at our diverse Lagoon venue.
Union Gray boasts a unique blend of classic country favorites and a modern rock-based country sound. Their music celebrates artists spanning from Oklahoma to Texas, Nashville to the Rocky Mountains, and beyond. The band has a passion in wowing audiences young and old with an energetic and interactive stage presence.
Band members include Scott Gray, vocals and guitar; David Mahn, guitar; Bradley Robson, bass; and James Nelson, drums. Although based in Denver, the talented quartet has played at venues across northern Colorado. Recently, they had the impressive opportunity to open for renowned country artist Craig Morgan at the Greeley Stampede in 2016. The band debut album, “Livin’ Free,” is now available on www.uniongray.com.
Don’t miss this week’s Little Kid Rock performers, Tavelli Tiger Stripes. They will have the pleasure of opening for Union Gray on July 12. Come early to claim a good seat and support your talented local youth performers!
Let’s not forget another important part of the Lagoon experience… the food! Concert goers are encouraged to grab dinner at one of the several local food trucks onsite: Mile High Lobster Shack, La Piadina, The Taco Stop, Revolution Artisan Pops and Human Bean Coffee Truck.
Who else is now ready for an uplifting country music experience? I know we are. Union Gray’s sound will have you feeling like driving down a backroad with the windows down. Grab your boots (or other shoes) and head to the Lagoon next Wednesday. We can’t wait to see your smiling faces soon Lagoon fans!
