Pandas & People Kicks off Lagoon Summer Concert Series

Welcome back, Lagoon fans! Starting this summer off right is alternative folk band Pandas & People. The 2017 Westword Award-winner of Best Americana Act in Denver is stopping by Fort Collins to give us a taste of their indie pop and folk blend. You’ll find their lyrics uplifting and joyful and maybe even have the urge to dance, but at the same time they are personal and insightful.

Lead vocals and bass player Joshua Scheer founded Pandas & People in 2013 in Colorado and has since led the group onto national radio. They’ve opened for well-known acts such as Twenty One Pilots and The Doobie Brothers. Joining Scheer onstage next Wednesday is Conrad Marshall on the keys and guitar, Tucker Ewing on guitar and vocals, Michael Kinney on drums, and Dave Brown on the mandolin and guitar.

What’s a concert without food? Prepare for a summer full of delectable treats because fabulous food trucks will be present for the entire concert series. This evening’s food truck line up consists of Bigs Meat Wagon, The Taco Stop, Wing Shack, The Human Bean and Ba-Nom-A-Nom.

So who else is ready to experience this upbeat alternative folk band?! We can’t wait to see Pandas & People and your happy faces this Wednesday at Lagoon!

The Lagoon Summer Concert Series is produced by Mantooth Marketing with thanks to the generous support of Title Sponsors Colorado State University, Kaiser Permanente and Dellenbach Subaru.
