It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Lagoon Summer Concert Series. While we are saddened by this announcement, we look forward to being able to see all of our Lagooners next summer for the 2021 series.

For our full announcement, please visit lagoonseries.com/the-2020-lagoon-summer-concert-series-has-been-canceled.

This isn’t a game of Where’s Waldo – with the help of Google maps, you should easily be able to find the Lagoon venue. Type in ‘640 West Plum Street’ to your device or check out the map below. If all else fails, follow the sounds of happy voices and rockin’ tunes and they will show you the way!

Lagoon performances happen each Wednesday at 6 p.m. during the summers. Unfortunately, due to county restrictions as a result of COVID-19, we have made the decision to cancel the 2020 series. We look forward to seeing you in 2021!

Is Siri taking the day off? Then pull out your compass, remember that the mountains will always lead you west and follow these general guidelines: If you are heading north on College Avenue, turn left onto West Laurel Street, then take another left (or head south) on Meridian Avenue. The venue is located at the corner of West Plum Street and Meridian Avenue. There is a big stage sitting in an open grass field surrounded by trees – you can’t miss it.

You can always count on great family-friendly tunes coming from the Lagoon. View the weekly lineup here. Or better, yet, just plan on swinging by every week regardless of who is on stage because you can’t go wrong with live music on a summer afternoon!

Everybody’s favorite price, FREE! Thanks to our amazing sponsors, the Lagoon Summer Concert Series remains a complimentary community event for all to enjoy.

We love our furry friends! Feel free to bring your pup for some quality lounging on the lawn. Just be sure to keep them on a leash and have extra doggie bags ready to go.

Indeed there is! The talented young musicians of Little Kids Rock warm up the stage for the main act each week at 6 p.m. Come out to support the future of the NoCo music scene, and give these kiddos a standing O for their gumption and artistry!

Oh, the age-old question of where to park! If travelling by car, we recommend the Lory Student Center, the Morgan Library or Moby Arena parking lots. Fair warning – there is no parking along Meridian Avenue or Plum Street (and not in the bike lanes either!). Be sure you pay attention to parking signs (you don’t want to be that person!)…plus being towed has a way of ruining the experience.

Save your pennies for the delicious food trucks! Most CSU parking lots after 4 p.m. are free, but pay attention to the parking signs just to be on the safe side!

For more information on CSU’s parking information, visit their website: here

Definitely, in fact, we encourage it! Park at one of the off-campus MAX stations and get off at the University Station, located at Mason Street and University Ave. just east of the Lory Student Center. Want to learn more? Visit the Ride Transfort website: here

Bring your appetites and leave the hangry at home! You can expect to see 4-5 food trucks each week, ranging from delicious meals to desserts. Check out which trucks will be onsite each week here.

Please leave your drones and alcoholic beverages at home. Colorado State University is a dry campus, but feel free to bring your iced tea, lemonades, Shirley Temples, and virgin pina coladas! Smoking is not allowed at the Lagoon, either.

And now for the fun stuff: picnics are A-OK, snacks, blankets, chairs, non-alcoholic beverages, coolers, friends, leashed dogs…the sky is the limit! Heck, we are a huge fan of those new blow-up couches – bring one for the whole family.

We know the Lagoon crowd is tough enough to handle a little rain, but if Mother Nature gets a bit crazy, we might just have to cancel for everyone’s safety. For weather updates, call 970-663-1888 or go to our Facebook page
